CONSTRUCTION UPDATE MILESTONES FOR BAHRIA SKY (48 MONTHS TIMELINE)
Completed Milestone
Groundbreaking Ceremony (Day 1): The official start of construction is celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by project stakeholders and community members.
Foundation Pour (Month 5-6): Concrete is poured for the building’s foundation. The basement was completed within the commitment timeframe of 7.5 Kanal in just 155 days, taking the construction process to a whole new level:
- Excavation Work: Initial excavation work is conducted to prepare the construction site.
- Raft and Frame Layout: The layout for the raft foundation and structural framing is established.
- Retaining Walls: Retaining walls are constructed to support the basement levels.
- Basement Slab: The basement slab is prepared and installed.
- Foundation Pour: Concrete is poured for the building’s foundation, marking the beginning of vertical construction
Ground,1st and 2nd floors are successfully completed, marking a significant milestone in the construction process.
A construction tower crane has been installed to accelerate construction, ensuring the project adheres to the timeline and achieves on-time delivery.
In-Progress Milestone
Topping Out / Gray Structure (Month 30-35): The highest point of the building will be reached, typically marked by a topping-out ceremony where the final structural element will be put in place. 6-7 weeks for each consecutive Floor.
Exterior Completion (Month 35-40): The exterior walls, windows, and roofing will be completed, protecting the building’s interior from the elements.
Interior Fit-Out Initiation (Month 20-45): Interior construction work will begin, including the installation of utilities, partitions, and HVAC systems.
Final Inspection and Code Compliance (Month 45-46): The building will undergo a thorough inspection to ensure it meets all safety and code requirements.
Occupancy Permit Granted (Month 46-48): The local authorities will issue an occupancy permit, allowing tenants to move in.
Tenant Move-In (Month 47-48): Tenants will start occupying the building’s residential or commercial spaces.
Project Completion and Handover (Month 48): The construction project will be officially completed, and ownership or management will be handed over to the relevant parties.
